THE RIGHT SOLUTION FOR A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT OVER TIME
PNG Scoccimarro has always considered the question of the healthiness of the environments on board ships as an important issue to be explored. We have developed a sanitization and disinfection protocol to be submitted to our customers, in addition to the usual cleaning procedures, in order to meet new required cleansing standards.
We take advantage of the technological contribution of two Companies specialized in the sector; from this collaboration and from our in-depth study, we have chosen suitable devices for use on board of ships, working with 50/60 Hz frequencies. The selected detergents are certified and eco-sustainable.
We have identified two important phases of sanitizing / disinfecting surfaces and together with our customer we can examine customized solutions based on already existing procedures.
First Phase: DEEP DETERSION THROUGH DRY SATURATED STEAM GENERATOR
The principle of Menikini generators is dry saturated steam which is delivered at temperatures between 140 ° C and 180 ° C , at pressures ranging from 6 to 10 bar. The benefits of using this technology are proven. The saturated dry steam has:
- Strong sanitizing power: it kills microorganisms, viruses and bacteria through thermal shock.
- it provides a double economic advantage: the dry over-heated steam facilitates chemical reactions, the micro drops of water break the bonds between organic material and the surface treated, consequently we will need less water and detergent. For instance MK4 generator consumes 4,5L/h of water while high pressure hydro cleaners consume 1500-2000L/h. Moreover, the time for sanitization is reduced.
- Ecological advantages: thanks to a more economic and eco-friendly technology detergent is needed only in 20% of cases compared to 100% required by the traditional method. Furthermore, there is no risk of contamination, in fact, it is a safer system for the operator, who neither inhales nor comes into contact with chemical detergents.
Complex surfaces: accessibility to areas that cannot be reached by the traditional method of cleaning.
It is possible to sanitize also electrical components, connections, refrigeration motors etc. ... in fact the limited presence of micro drops allows rapid drying.
(N.B. the electrical panels and machinery must not be connected to the electrical network during cleaning operations. We recommend using compressed air before reconnecting the electrical network to eliminate any trace of humidity).
